Next Chapter at Burgermeister: Simon Büttner Becomes CMO and Joins the Management Team

We are proud to announce that Simon Büttner is now officially part of our management team as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO).

Following his successful tenure as Head of Marketing, he now takes on expanded responsibilities for both the strategic and operational leadership of marketing – and will also play an active role in company-wide growth initiatives at a top management level.

Over the past 12 months, Simon and his team have taken Burgermeister Group’s marketing to a whole new level – with a clear vision, strong leadership, and true brand passion.

The achievements and milestones speak for themselves:

  • Professionalized and scaled marketing operations

  • Contributed significantly to +37% revenue growth (2024 vs. 2023)

  • Expanded from 8 to 18 stores – nationwide rollout launched, with 10 new locations already opened

  • Secured a spot at #83 on the foodservice Top 100 list of Germany’s largest restaurant operators

  • Strategic relaunch and expansion of our delivery business with partners Wolt & Lieferando

  • Development and launch of the Burgermeister Burger Card – our loyalty program for long-term customer retention

  • Preparation for international expansion and successful start of our nationwide rollout strategy

And this is just the beginning:

  • Over 25 new store openings are planned across Germany in 2025 alone

  • Expansion into other European countries is underway

  • Continued focus on brand awareness, customer retention, and revenue growth – both in-store and through our delivery partners
