Management Changes at Burgermeister

Berlin, 14 September 2026 – Berlin-based burger brand Burgermeister has announced changes to its management team. Founder Cebrail Karabelli will assume the role of sole Managing Director. Robert Fügert, the company’s former CEO, will leave Burgermeister following a strategic adjustment to the company’s expansion plans.

Under the leadership of founder and Managing Director Cebrail Karabelli, Burgermeister will place an even stronger focus on sustainable growth and the continued expansion of its presence across Germany and Europe. The company will prioritise carefully selected locations, strong partnerships and a growth strategy that remains true to the brand and its roots.

Burgermeister’s goal is to continue developing the brand while preserving the qualities that have driven its success since 2006: great food with heart, born in Kreuzberg; quality without premium prices; and an unmistakably Berlin brand that retains its character well beyond the capital.
