Lieferando brings Burgermeister burgers to your home: New cooperation starts June 1st

Berlin, May 30, 2024 — Lieferando is expanding its offering in Berlin to include the popular Berlin burger chain Burgermeister. From June 1, 2024, fans can conveniently order their favorite burgers via Lieferando and have them delivered to their home. Until mid-June, there will even be no delivery charge. Expansion into other German cities is already planned and should be accelerated by the new partnership.

Berliners are burger fans

In Berlin, the appetite for the popular dish is particularly large. Last year, many millions of burgers were ordered via Lieferando. One in ten orders in Berlin brought the hit order home. Above all, the cheeseburger is the clear favorite in the capital.

The integration of the popular burger chain Burgermeister on the best-known delivery platform allows Berliners to order the tasty Burgermeister burgers with just a few clicks and enjoy them within a very short time. Bestsellers such as the “Meisterburger”, cheeseburger and chili cheeseburger are also brought to your door via the delivery service.

A piece of Berlin history

Burgermeister was founded in 2006 by Cebrail Karabelli and has its origins in a small snack bar beneath an elevated railway bridge on Schlesische Straße. The snack bar quickly achieved cult status and is now one of the most popular burger addresses in Berlin. With the new cooperation, even more Berliners can enjoy the burgers.

In total, Burgermeister burgers can be ordered from 10 branches via Lieferando. In a few weeks, the first Burgermeister will open in Potsdam and will be available on Lieferando. Lieferando will support Burgermeister’s nationwide expansion and will also deliver the iconic burgers to other cities on its platform.
