Burgermeister relies on Wolt again to expand its delivery business
- Just in time for the start of the expansion, the Berlin burger chain and Wolt are reunited
- All Berlin branches of Burgermeister will be available on Wolt from June 1st

Berlin, May 30, 2024 – Burgermeister, the well-known Berlin burger chain, and Wolt, the Finnish delivery and tech company, are reunited. From June 1, all Berlin Burgermeister locations will be available in the Wolt app. Together, the two brands are celebrating their renewed partnership with exclusive promotions, including a 2-for-1 special and deliveries to special public viewing locations in Berlin parks. The launch in Berlin precedes Burgermeister’s planned expansion, which will include at least ten other cities across Germany in 2024 where Wolt is also active.
All ten Burgermeister locations in Berlin will be available again via Wolt as soon as the partnership starts. The eleventh branch will open at Hermannplatz at the beginning of July. In addition, over ten new openings are planned nationwide for 2024, all of which will also be integrated into the Wolt app, including three more in Berlin, two in Hanover and one location each in Stuttgart, Potsdam, Leipzig, Cologne and Düsseldorf.

To kick off the collaboration, Wolt and Burgermeister are waiting for Berliners with a special promotion from June 3rd: As part of the 2-for-1 Burger Special, Berliners will receive an additional free burger when ordering a Cheeseburger, Chili Cheeseburger or Waldmeister burger. In addition, Wolt and Burgermeister are also immersing themselves in the European Championship summer and are shaping the capital with special promotions. Branded public viewing bikes will be in use at specific locations in Berlin for the European Championship games on June 14th (Germany vs. Scotland), June 19th (Germany vs. Hungary) and June 23rd (Scotland vs. Switzerland). Visitors on site will receive vouchers for discounted burger orders. In addition, there will be comprehensive social media campaigns, including influencer, TikTok and YouTube campaigns. Burgermeister and Wolt are ready to conquer the European Championship summer in Berlin with these promotions and make a statement for a collaboration that will soon delight burger fans in many other cities.
